Suzana Salleh is a Commercial Makeup Artist who specialises in Beauty, Editorial, Film, Stage and Special Effects Makeup.

 

Suzana had a childhood fascination with movie magic, science shows, taking things apart and finding out how everything worked, which evolved into a passion for creative and special effects makeup later in life. 

Upon graduating from Cosmoprof Academy in 2008 with a Distinction in Diploma in Professional Makeup Artistry, she was constantly involved in a range of projects. Suzana got her start in makeup while doing many collaborations with fellow creatives and soon landed the opportunity to be part of Sentosa’s debut Halloween event ’Spooktacular 2009’, as the Head Makeup Artist.

Two quick years later, her endless curiosity landed her in the magical theme park engineering world. Her time as part of USS’s Madagascar Ride engineering team and the M&E Site Engineer for the Adventure Cove Waterpark later inspired her to “dream bigger” and be more involved in the magic of creating and making.

She now commits to her craft full-time. With her flair for making things work, Suzana has pushed some boundaries of her scope. From making custom fat suits for a commercial to making custom props and prosthetics for film and stage.

When she is not on a production set, she spends time in the workshop innovating products and experiences.
